The 1936 United States presidential election in Washington took place on November 3, 1936, as part of the 1936 United States presidential election. Washington voters chose eight representatives, or electors, to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

Washington defeated incumbent President Franklin D. Roosevelt, D–new York, working with Vice President John nance garner, with 66.38% of the vote, against Governor Alf Landon, R–KS, works with Frank Knox, with 29.88% of the vote.

Side 66.38 percent is the best result ever achieved by the Democrats in Washington state. In the presidential election of 2016 is the last election in which County Adams voted for the presidential candidate of the Democratic party.
