The 42nd Legislative Assembly of Ontario is the current legislature of the province of Ontario, Canada.

The current Prime Minister is the Ontario progressive Conservative party leader Doug Ford as leader of the party that won the most seats in the General elections 2018 Ontario. The official opposition, and the only recognized party is the Ontario new democratic party, led by Andrea Horwath company. The liberal party of Ontario and green Party of Ontario also has a seat in the legislature, but not elected mpps enough for official party status.

Ford was officially sworn in as Prime Minister of Ontario, Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario on June 29, 2018. The first session of the Legislative Assembly of 42 was opened on 11 July 2018, with the election of Ted Arnott as a speaker.
