The 1884 United States presidential election in West Virginia took place on November 4, 1884, as part of the 1884 United States presidential election. West Virginia voters chose six representatives, or electors, to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

West Virginia won Grover Cleveland, the 28th Governor of the state of new York, United D-new York, working with former Indiana Governor Thomas A. Hendricks, with 50.94% of the vote, against Secretary of state James G. blaine, R-Maine, is working with Senator John A. Logan, with 47.75% of the vote.

The prohibition party chose John St John, former Governor of Kansas, Maryland and former Senator William Daniel presidential and Vice-presidential candidates and got 0.71% of votes. The greenback and anti-monopoly party was elected major General and former Massachusetts Governor Benjamin Butler and Absolom M. West, dropped a Mississippi representative, received 0.60% of the votes.
