The 1896 United States presidential election in Nebraska took place on November 3, 1896. All contemporary 45 states were part of the 1896 United States presidential election. Voters chose eight electors to the Electoral College, which selected the president and vice president.

Nebraska won the democratic candidates, former U.S. representative and Nebraska native William Jennings Bryan and his running mate Arthur Sewall of Maine. Four electors cast their Vice presidential ballots for Thomas E. Watson.

As a result of his victory, Bryan became the first presidential candidate from the Democratic party to win in Nebraska. Brian would later lose the state by William McKinley in 1900, but later to win it again against William Howard Taft in 1908.
