British Strong Style is a professional wrestling stable, made up of Pete Dunne, Trent Seven and Tyler Bate. Dunne and Seven formed the group in the Progress Wrestling promotion in July 2016 as a tag team, before adding Bate the following November. The group dominated Progress over the following year with Dunne holding the Progress World Championship and Bate and Seven the Progress Tag Team Championship. Though primarily appearing in Progress, the stable has also worked for several other promotions in the United Kingdom, including Chikara, where they won the 2017 King of Trios tournament.
The partnership between Progress and the WWE, all three members of the British strong style also appeared on the WWE starting in 2017, with BATE beating Dunn in the final of the first tournament championship of the United Kingdom to become the first WWE champion in the UK. Dunn won the title at BATE this year. In Dunnes UK title reign, seven and BATE for a short time was the team Champions of NXT in June 2018, forcing all three members of the Champions in the WWE for a short period.
The group takes its name from the style of professional wrestling which is a mix of Japanese strong style and traditional British struggle to catch. When working in a duet, seven and BATE to use the name of the Mountain his mustache.
