West Virginia won Adlai Stevenson, D–Illinois, is working with Senator John Sparkman, with 51.92% of the vote, against Columbia University, U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower, R–NY, working with Senator Richard Nixon, with 48.08% of the vote.
