The 1968 United States presidential election in Washington took place on November 5, 1968, as part of the 1968 United States presidential election. Washington voters chose nine representatives, or electors, to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

Washington was won by Democratic candidate, Vice President Hubert Humphrey, with 47.23% of the vote against Republican candidate, former Senator and Vice President Richard Nixon, with 45.12 percent of the vote. American presidential candidate George Wallace appeared on the ballot, finishing 7.44% of the vote.

Nixon, despite losing the state elections, he became the first Republican to carry the vapor of the County of Warren Harding did in 1920. Along with Maine, Washington was one of only two States that Nixon lost in 1968 he won in his unsuccessful attempt for the presidency in 1960.
