ⓘ Fasegraphy

Fasegraphy is a method for processing electrocardiograms developed by the International Scientific and Educational Center for Information Technologies and Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The main feature fasegraphy method is the transition from the scalar ECG signal ZT in any of the results it display on the phase plane with coordinates z T, DZ / DT where DZ / DT is the rate of change of the electrical activity of the heart. It is fundamentally fasegraphy differs from other similar approaches, based on the matching signal in the plane with coordinates z t, z T-Tau, where Tau is the delay time.

Fasegraphy allows you to extend the system of diagnostic features of the ECG, based on the evaluation of high-speed characteristics of the process, and thereby increase the sensitivity and specificity of ECG diagnosis. Fasegraphy allows you to define the source of the ability changes in the heart muscle, even at single channel ECG, which are understated in traditional diagnostic ECG.

The method was recommended by the Ministry of health of Ukraine for the screening.
