The 1922 United States Senate election in Minnesota took place on November 7, 1922. Farmer–Labor challenger Henrik Shipstead defeated incumbent Republican U.S. Senator Frank B. Kellogg and Democratic challenger Anna Dickie Olesen.

Elections to the U.S. Senate in 1922 in Minnesota was significant for several reasons. Olesen was the first woman nominated by a major political parties in the elections to the Senate of the United States. In addition, she was the first woman nominated by the Democratic party in Minnesota in any statewide elections, and, together with the 1922, the farmer–labor nominees, the Secretary of State and state auditor, Susie Stageberg and Eliza Evans Deming tied for the record for the second woman nominated by a major political parties in statewide elections in Minnesota: first-1920 farmer–labor candidate for Secretary, Lily Anderson. In addition to the first U.S. Senate election to show the woman as the nominee of the party in 1922 U.S. Senate election in Minnesotas first U.S. Senate election in Minnesota after the ratification of the nineteenth amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

The victorious Henry Shipstead also got some footnotes in history. Shipstead was the first farmer–labor candidate to win the election in Minnesota. He was also fourth nerespublikansky to represent Minnesota in the Senate of the United States, third number of Republican to be elected to the United States Senate from Minnesota, the first nerespublikansky to be elected to the United States Senate from Minnesota after the American Civil war, and the first room-Republican to be elected to the United States Senate from Minnesota by popular vote.
