The 2016 United States presidential election in Hawaii was held on November 8, 2016, as part of the 2016 United States presidential election in which all 50 states and the District of Columbia participated. Hawaii voters chose electors to represent them in the Electoral College by a popular vote pitting the Republican Partys nominee, businessman Donald Trump, and running mate Indiana Governor Mike Pence against Democratic Party nominee, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her running mate, Virginia Senator Tim Kaine.

On March 1, 2016, the presidential primaries, Hawaii votes in favor of the Republican and Constitution party candidates for President. The green party held its Convention on may 21, along with the primary on may 28. The democratic party held a meeting on March 26. The registered members of each party voted only in the initial party, and voters who were unaffiliated to select any single primary vote.

Hillary Clinton won the election in Hawaii with 62.2% of the vote, its highest percentage vote of any state, though a significant decline from President Obama 70.55% since 2012. Donald trump received 30.0% of the votes, exceeding the indicators of 2012, MITT Romney 3%. Hawaii is one of two States, where he beat Hillary Clinton each district, the other Massachusetts. Hawaii was a candidate for the green Party Jill steins high figures, being the only state where it was 3%.

Despite all Hawaiis votes are pledged to the Clinton / Cain ticket, one invalid voters voted for Bernie Sanders for President and Elizabeth Warren for Vice President.
