The 1848 United States presidential election in Texas was held on November 7, 1848 as part of the 1848 United States presidential election. Texas voters chose four electors to represent the state in the Electoral College, which chose the president and vice president. Texas was annexed by the United States on February 19, 1846, making this the first presidential election in which the state participated.

Texas overwhelmingly vote for Democrats Lewis Cass, receiving 70.2% of the vote. Texas was, by far, Casss strong state is truly solitary state, where he received more than 56% of the vote.
