The 2012 United States presidential election in Pennsylvania took place on November 6, 2012, as part of the 2012 United States presidential election in which all 50 states plus the District of Columbia participated. Pennsylvania voters chose 20 electors to represent them in the Electoral College via a popular vote. This is a reduction from its 2008 delegation, which had 21 electors, the change was due to reapportionment following the 2010 United States Census. Pennsylvanias 20 electoral votes are allotted on a winner-take-all basis.

The current President is Democrat Barack Obama received 52.0% of the vote, against 46.6% for Republican nominee MITT Romney. Also on the ballot were Jill Stein of the Green party and Gary Johnson of the libertarian party, which received 0.4% and 0.9%, respectively. Other candidates can run as write-in candidates. The state is considered likely but not certain to go to Obama.

Primary elections select candidates from the Democratic and Republican held earlier, on 24 April 2012. This is the sixth presidential election in a row where the Democratic candidate has won Pennsylvanias of the vote, the state will vote Republican in the next presidential election.
