The 1984 United States presidential election in Pennsylvania took place on November 6, 1984, and was part of the 1984 United States presidential election. Voters chose 25 representatives, or electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

In Pennsylvania voted for the Republican candidate, President Ronald Reagan, over the Democratic candidate, former Vice President Walter Mondale. Reagan won Pennsylvania by a margin of 7.35%.

Reagan won the state engulfed the small towns and rural areas in Central Pennsylvania and well in the traditionally Republican suburbs of Philadelphia, but the race stayed within single digits for Mondales strong showing in the traditionally democratic Western Pennsylvania, along with decisive double-digit wins by the cities of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. In the presidential election of 2016 is the last election in which the County voted for Republicans. He, along with two Dwight Eisenhower / Stevenson II Adlai in the elections of 1952 and 1956, one of only 3 elections after the Civil war, in which Pennsylvania voted more democratic than in neighboring new York.
