Leucoptera puerariella is a moth in the Lyonetiidae family. It is known from Japan.

Wingspan is 4-5 mm 0.16–0.20 V. the Adults are on the wing from late July and again in may. There are two or three generations per year.

The larvae feed on Pueraria allied. They mine the leaves of their host plant. Mine has the form of the upper surface irregular blotch expanding along the edges of the sheet or vein. It is pale greenish-brown. One to three mines are on the same sheet. Mature larvae leave the mine and make white spindle-shaped cocoon covered with flattened, thin silk web on the edge of the sheet.
