Astelia trinervia

Astelia trinervia is a species of rhizomatous tufted perennial that is native to New Zealand. An example occurrence of this species is in the North Islands Hamilton Ecological District, where A. trinervia occurs in the understory associated with Blechnum discolor and overstory forest elements of rimu and nothofagus trees.


Damnamenia is a genus of flowering plants in the sunflower family. The only known Damnamenia vernicosa called black-eyed Daisy. It is endemic to New Zealand, Auckland and Campbell Islands.
