The 2000 United States presidential election in Montana took place on November 7, 2000, and was part of the 2000 United States presidential election. Voters chose 3 representatives, or electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

Montana was won by Governor George W. Bush. Bush won most counties in the state, and only get less than 40% in three districts. Bush won the highest populated County, the County Yellowstone with exactly 59% of the vote. Gore won only five counties, and did all the deer in the area.

Ralph Nader, the Green party and the candidate is very well performed here, gaining 5.95% of the vote statewide. He did very well in the Western part of the state received more than 5% of the vote in most districts in the region. His best performance was in the County of Missoula, where he received more than 15% of the vote, which was the only County Nader cracks double digits. Performance Naders in Montana made it the fifth strongest state after Alaska, Vermont, Massachusetts and Rhode island.
