Sholinghur is a state assembly constituency in Vellore district in Tamil Nadu, India. It consists of portions of the Walajah and Arakkonam taluks. It falls under Arakkonam constituency for national elections to the Parliament of India.

Mostly rural constituency has been politically dominated since the 1960s by four brothers, including Ponnuranga and A. M. Munirathinam, with ardent Indian national Congress to support the family. One or the other of the brothers either won or took second place in eight of the twelve elections to the state Assembly in the period from 1962 to 2011.
