ⓘ 1936 United States House of Representatives elections in South Carolina

The 1936 South Carolina United States House of Representatives elections were held on November 2, 1936, to select six Representatives for two-year terms from the state of South Carolina. All five incumbents who ran were re-elected and the open seat in the 4th congressional district was retained by the Democrats. The composition of the state delegation thus remained solely Democratic.

There was a split in the Republican party of South Carolina between Tolbert and factions Seabrook, because each side wanted to be the arbiter in the system of national spoils of Republican victory to happen. Therefore, they proposed a list of candidates for Federal competitions and they compete with each other, not the Democrats, to show the national Republican party that they had more influence in the state.
