Aeronca E-107

The E-107A was a production aviation flathead engine designed to replace a Morehouse engine on the first prototype of the Aeronca C-2. The first five were produced without cooling fins on the crankcase, but with all versions having air-cooling fins atop the cylinder heads, similar to many air-cooled two-stroke engines in appearance. A Winfleld Model 5 carburetor was standard for the engine. The E-107 was replaced by the uprated, overhead valvetrain E-113 engine based on the same design.

Aeronca E-113

The E-113 was a small flat-twin piston engine developed by Aeronca for use in some of their light aircraft. It was an overhead valve development of the flathead configuration E-107.

Agusta GA.40

The Agusta GA.40 was a 2-cylinder, air-cooled, horizontally opposed engine developed in Italy by Agusta for light aircraft use. It was intended for use in motorgliders. The engine was produced in the 1950s and 1960s.

Agusta GA.70

The Agusta GA.70 was a 4-cylinder, air-cooled, horizontally opposed engine developed in Italy for light aircraft and helicopter use. The GA.70/V featured a bottom sump for vertical applications and was rated at 158 hp. It was produced in the 1950s and 1960s.

Agusta GA.140

The Agusta GA.140/V is a 4-cylinder, air-cooled, horizontally opposed engine mounted vertically, developed in Italy for helicopter use and produced from 1962 to 1969.

Ava 4A

The Ava 4A was a low power flat-four developed for very light aircraft in France in the 1930s. It was used by several prototypes and at least one production series.
