Meadow Bridge is a town in Fayette County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 379 at the 2010 census. The first settler of the area was John Gwin, closely followed by Dan Griffin.

The community got its name from the adjacent bridge over meadow Creek.

Somewhere in 1890, the first meadow post office, the bridge was created, and gave the area the name Montrode. It was later changed to Clute after Woodman VA Theodore who came with the railroad to build a sawmill in the area. By using the Meadow river lumber company, and Theodore Clute, millions of feet of lumber were cut, and soon a town sprang up with shops and houses.

With the industry in meadow bridge, on July 26, 1920, he was included in the official city. Although the industry came to the small town of meadow bridge, progress was slow and difficult. After several years of hard struggle, in 1924, they finally were able to bring to school in the city, meadow school of the bridges.

Part of their troubles was that they were isolated from the rest of the County of Fayette. What has changed in 1937, when the 7 kilometers of paved roads linking the bridge meadow and the neighboring town of Danese. In 1938 the road connecting the town of Rainelle and Hinton ran across the bridge, the meadow, linking all the settlements together and, consequently, on route 41. It finally gave bridge meadow way to the Western part of the County of Fayette.
