ⓘ Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a Lego-themed action-adventure video game based on the Lego Star Wars line of toys. It is a combination of the game Lego Star Wars: The Video Game and its sequel Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, which spans the first six episodes of the Star Wars saga. The game was announced by LucasArts on 25 May 2007 at Celebration IV and was released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Nintendo DS on 6 November 2007 in North America. The compilation title was released for the PC on 13 October 2009 in the US. Its sequel, Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, was released in March 2011. The Mac OS X version of the game was released on 12 November 2010 by Feral Interactive. A version of the game for iOS was released on 11 December 2013, and for Android on 1 January 2015.
The mission for the game is to successfully progress through the entire story while collecting Gold Bricks. The Complete Saga spans the events that take place from the Trade Federation negotiations above Naboo in Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace to the attack on the second Death Star above Endor in Return of the Jedi.
Like in Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, the hub world takes place in the Mos Eisley Cantina. The Cantina has doors that allows the player to enter the levels for Episodes I-IV, the bonus levels, the Bounty Hunter missions, and the Arcade games. The Cantina also has customizable characters like Lego Star Wars II.
In the PC, Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game there are 160 gold bricks to collect; 120 of these are for the main levels. There are three for each of the levels. One is for completing the level in story mode, the second is for achieving "True Jedi" status by collecting a certain amount of studs/coins, and the third is by collecting 10 LEGO "minikit" canisters, which are hidden across the level. For iOS, there are 200 Gold Bricks overall with an additional gold brick available for each level with the completion of a challenge mode where the player must find the 10 hidden blue minkits in 20 minutes. The iOS also offers 12 gold bricks by completing the arcade games in the lobby.
There are 20 gold bricks for completing the Bounty Hunter missions, which involve capturing key figures of the Old Republic and Rebellion for Jabba the Hutt. There are 6 further gold bricks for completing the bonus missions 10 in the iOS version and another 14 available to purchase at the Cantina 8 in the iOS version.
Overall, there are 36 story levels, 20 bounty hunter missions, and 6 bonus levels two Lego Cities, two story levels Anakins Flight and A New Hope, the latter of which was a special unlockable level found in Lego Star Wars: The Video Game, and the original Mos Espa Pod Race and Gunship Cavalry levels).
Most of the story levels are the same as those found in their respective original games. This game incorporates two previously deleted levels: "Anakins Flight" and "Bounty Hunter Pursuit," which at one time were intended to appear in Lego Star Wars: The Video Game but were cut during development. "Anakins Flight" is based on the Naboo space battle against the droid control ship seen in The Phantom Menace. It was originally envisioned as a rail-shooter level, but was changed to the free-roam style used in almost all vehicles levels in the game. "Bounty Hunter Pursuit," focuses on Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker pursuing bounty hunter Zam Wesell across Coruscant from Attack of the Clones. It was also made into a free-roam level, but unlike "Anakins Flight" was incorporated into Episode II. In Lego Star Wars: The Video Game, there were only five story levels for Attack of the Clones rather than the standard of six levels per episode for all other episodes.
The "Mos Espa Podrace" and "Gunship Cavalry" story levels have been redesigned, although the versions from their respective original games are present as bonus levels. "Battle over Coruscant," though, remains the same except players can change vehicles in free-play. New additions to The Complete Saga include a 2-player Battle Arena mode called "Arcade Mode", new minikit vehicle bonus missions, the red power bricks from Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy returning and being incorporated into the prequel trilogy levels, and 10 additional bounty hunter missions add new challenges to the Prequel Trilogy portions originally seen in Lego Star Wars: The Video Game.
The Episodes I, II, and III levels have been updated so that characters can build and ride vehicles, wear helmets and gain access to bounty hunter and stormtrooper areas. Prequel trilogy characters now have the ability to dodge blaster fire and have their own special melee attack for example, Chewbacca rips off arms. New Force moves are included force lightning and force choke. New characters have also been added, bringing the total up to 160. Indiana Jones is an unlockable playable character to foreshadow Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures.
2.1. Plot Episode I - The Phantom Menace
After the Trade Federation sets up a blockade on the peaceful planet of Naboo, secretly under the orders of Darth Sidious, Supreme Chancellor Valorum of the Galactic Republic secretly dispatches two Jedi Knights, Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi, to attempt to negotiate with the Federation and settle the conflict. However, after boarding the Trade Federations command ship, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are lured into a trap and are forced to fight their way through numerous battle droids in order to escape. With the help of the protocol droid TC-14, the two Jedi manage to board a droid transporter, which takes them to Naboo, as the invasion of the planet has officially started. On Naboo, Qui-Gon saves a Gungan named Jar Binks from being crushed by a transporter and, grateful, he leads the two Jedi to the Gungans underwater city, where Qui-Gon uses a mind trick to convince their leader, Boss Nass, to give them a submarine, allowing them to infiltrate the Naboo capital of Theed. After saving Queen Amidala and her guards, including Captain Panaka, the group fight their way through battle droids to reach the palace hangar, where they use the Royal Starship to escape from Naboo.
Because the ship got severely damaged during the escape, the group is forced to land on the desert planet Tatooine in search for the piece needed to fix the ship. At a local shop run by Watto, Qui-Gon finds both the piece and a young slave boy named Anakin Skywalker. Finding the cost of the piece to be expensive, Anakin shows them a flyer about the upcoming pod race where they could get the money they need, as long as Anakin wins the upcoming pod race. Anakin ends up winning the race and leaves with Qui-Gon, who uses the prize money to buy the piece from Watto. With the ship fixed, the group return to Naboo to stop the invasion and Padme makes peace with the Gungans, convincing Boss Nass to help them.
While the Gungan army led by Jar battles the droid army in the open fields, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Padme, Panaka, R2-D2 and Anakin infiltrate Theed and fight their way through battle droids to reach the palace hangar, where they rescue the Naboo pilots, so that they could launch an attack on the Trade Federations command ship. After Droidekas attack them, Anakin and R2 board a starfighter to destroy them, but accidentally take off into space. While the battle against the Trade Fedaration fleet is taking place above Naboo, the others are stopped by Darth Maul, Darth Sidious apprentice, whom Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan engage in a lengthy duel. While Anakin ends up accidentally destroying the Trade Federations command ship, which also deactivates all the battle droids, Maul stabs Qui-Gon, but is then defeated by Obi-Wan, who slices him in half, and he falls down a large shaft. Qui-Gon then dies from his wounds.
In the epilogue, the people of Naboo celebrate the newly found peace between the humans and the Gungans.
2.2. Plot Episode II - Attack of the Clones
Ten years later, the Republic, now led by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, is descending into crisis, being on the edge of entering a war with the recently formed Confederacy of Independent Systems CIS, led by the former Jedi Master and Darth Sidious new apprentice, Count Dooku. Following a failed assassination attempt of Padme Amidala by the bounty hunter Zam Wesel, Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker, now a young adult and Jedi Padawan, give chase in a speeder and eventually capture her. However, Wesel is shot with a poisonous dart.
Obi-Wan is able to track down the origins of the dart to the ocean planet Kamino, where he discovers an entire clone army in service of the Republic created by the Kaminoans, and also meets the bounty hunter Jango Fett. Realizing that Jango was the bounty hunter hired to assassinate Padme, Obi-Wan confronts him and his son Boba Fett, but they run away. After a chase through the cloning facility, Obi-Wan eventually corners Jango on a landing pad and fights him, while Boba is piloting their ship, Slave I, and firing at him. Although Obi-Wan defeats Jango, he escapes with Boba aboard the Slave I, but the Jedi Master throws a tracking device onto their ship and follows them to the desert planet Geonosis, the secret headquarters of the CIS.
Obi-Wan is quickly captured by the Separatists, but manages to send a distress signal to Anakin and Padme. Anakin and Padme, accompanied by R2-D2 and C-3PO Anakins old protocol droid travel to Geonosis to attempt to save Obi-Wan on their own. Venturing into a droid manufacturing facility, Anakin and Padme fight numerous battle droids and Geonosians and eventually rescue Obi-Wan, only to be all captured by Jango and Droidekas and sentenced to death in the Geonosian Arena.
Before they can be executed, however, they are rescued by a large number of undercover Jedi, led by Master Mace Windu. During the battle with the droids and the Geonosians, Windu fights and decapitates Jango, much to the grief of Boba. Although the Jedi are soon outnumbered by the droids, Grand Master Yoda arrives with the clone army and saves them, before leading the clones into battle against the droid army. The Republic gunships launch an attack and manage to destroy one of the Separatists command ships, while Obi-Wan and Anakin confront Count Dooku. Just as Dooku defeats them, severing Anakins right arm, Yoda arrives and duels Dooku himself, before he uses the Force to attempt to crush Anakin and Obi-Wan with a pillar, forcing Yoda to let the Sith Lord escape in order to save them.
In the epilogue, Dooku returns to Coruscant to meet with Darth Sidious.
2.3. Plot Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Three years into the Clone Wars, the Separatists, led by Count Dooku and the cyborg General Grievous, launch an attack on Coruscant, capturing Chancellor Palpatine, which results in a massive space battle above the planet. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi are tasked with saving Palpatine and they manage to infiltrate Grievous flagship, before fighting their way through numerous battle droids to reach the observation deck, where Palpatine is being held. Before they get the chance to rescue him, Dooku arrives and duels Anakin and Obi-Wan, but is defeated and decapitated by Anakin. With Palpatine rescued, the group then make their way to the command center of the ship to confront Grievous, but he escapes with the last remaining pod, forcing Anakin and Obi-Wan to crash the ship on Coruscant, but they all survive.
The Republic later tracks down Grievous to the planet Utapau, where Obi-Wan and Commander Cody confront and fight him. Grievous kills Cody, but is then shot and killed by Obi-Wan with Codys blaster. Meanwhile, Yoda travels to Kashyyyk to help the Wookiees fight the droid army invading their planet, only to witness Palpatine, who was actually Darth Sidious and played both sides of the war all along, ordering all the clone troopers across the galaxy to execute Order 66 In the game to represent this, a hologram of Palpatine makes a throat slitting gesture, which causes them to turn on their Jedi generals and attempt to kill them. Although Yoda manages to escape with help from the Wookiees, including Chewbacca, after fighting his way through both battle droids and clones in order to reach his pod, Order 66 works and most of the Jedi Order is wiped out, with only a few survivors remaining, including Yoda and Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan and Yoda arrive on Coruscant, after fighting their way through numerous clone troopers guarding it, they eventually find the security recordings, but are shocked at the discovery that Anakin has turned to the Dark Side, becoming Palpatines new apprentice and slaughtering all the Jedi inside the temple. Obi-Wan reluctantly goes to confront Anakin and follows Padme to the lava planet Mustafar. After Anakin argues with Padme, Obi-Wan reveals himself and the two former friends engage in a lengthy duel. Obi-Wan eventually defeats Anakin and cuts off all his limbs, before taking his lightsaber and leaving him to die.
In the epilogue, Obi-Wan takes Padme to a medical facility on Polis Massa, where she gives birth to twins, Luke and Leia, before dying. Palpatine finds the severely injured Anakin and puts him in a robotic suit to help him survive, thus becoming the feared Sith Lord Darth Vader.
2.4. Plot Episode IV - A New Hope
19 years later, the galaxy is consumed by a deadly civil war between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, who has risen to combat the Empires tyranny. A small group of rebels aboard the Tantive IV ship, led by Leia, are on the run from an Imperial Star Destroyer, as they are carrying stolen plans of the Empires battle station, the Death Star. After the Tantive IV is tracked into the Star Destroyer, numerous Stormtroopers board the ship and begin blasting at the rebels, while Leia and Captain Antilles make their way through the fight and eventually find R2-D2, whom Leia gives the plans to, before being captured by the Empire. Antilles and Rebel Friend then help R2 and his fellow protocol droid C-3PO get to an escape pod, before Antilles is captured and killed by Darth Vader.
R2 and C-3PO crash-land on Tatooine, where they are quickly captured by Jawas, who attempt to sell them alongside other droids. They are both bought by Luke Skywalker, but the Jawas later break into his home and steal them back. Luke ventures into the desert looking for them, only to be attacked by Tusken Raiders, although he is rescued by Obi-Wan Kenobi now known simply as Ben Kenobi. Together, they make their way through the desert, eventually reaching the Jawas Sandcrawler, where they recover R2 and C-3PO, and then Obi-Wans hut, where he gives Luke his fathers old lightsaber, and they watch a recorded message from Leia asking for Obi-Wans help. Deciding to deliver R2 to the Rebel Alliance on Alderaan, the group next heads to the Mos Eisley Spaceport to look for a ship to take them there and, inside the Mos Eisley Cantina, they come across the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca, who agree to take them to Alderaan using their ship, the Millennium Falcon. However, on their way to the ship, the group is stopped by an Imperial Spy, who calls several Stormtroopers to fight them, but they are able to deal with them and then take off. Meanwhile, aboard the Death Star, Grand Moff Tarkin demonstrates to an imprisoned Leia the power of the battle station by having it destroy Alderaan.
When Luke, Obi-Wan, Han and Chewbacca arrive in the Alderaan system, they are shocked to discover that the planet is gone, and are brought into the Death Star using a tractor beam. Darth Vader dispatches two Stormtroopers to investigate the Falcon, but Han and Luke deal with them and steal their armor in order to sneak more easily around the Death Star. After making their way to the hangar control room, they learn about Leia being imprisoned aboard the battle station and split up, with Luke, Han and Chewbacca going to rescue her, while Obi-Wan goes to deactivate the tractor beam, and R2 and C-3PO remain hidden in the control room. After fighting their way through numerous Stormtroopers and Death Star personnel, Luke, Han and Chewbacca eventually rescue Leia, but are forced to go down a garbage compactor in order to escape from the pursuing Stormtroopers. In the compactor, they are almost crushed to death, until R2 and C-3PO save them in the last moment. The group then make their way back to the Falcon, but Obi-Wan, dueling Vader, allows Vader to kill him, much to Lukes shock.
After escaping from the Death Star, the group arrive at the Rebels base on Yavin IV, but are unknowingly followed by the Empire, who prepares to destroy the moon using the Death Star. Using the retrieved plans to learn about the Death Stars weakness - a thermal exhaust port that leads straight to the battle stations core - the Rebels launch an attack using X-Wings and, after a fight with numerous TIE Fighters, Luke prepares to fire into the port, when Darth Vader arrives accompanied by two other TIE Fighters. Just as they are about to fire at him, Han arrives in the Millennium Falcon, having decided to join the Rebel Alliance as well, and takes down the two TIE Fighters, which also causes Vader to spin out of control and allows Luke to fire at the port, successfully destroying the Death Star.
In the epilogue, the Rebels hold a celebration ceremony on Yavin, where Leia gives Luke and Han medals for their heroism.
2.5. Plot Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
Three years later, the Rebel Alliance is on the run from the Empire and hiding on the ice planet Hoth. Darth Vader, obsessed with capturing Luke Skywalker, the one who destroyed the Death Star, dispatches numerous Probe Droids across the galaxy to find him. While out on patrol, Luke spots a Probe Droid that crashed on Hoth, but is then attacked by a Wampa, which takes him to its cave. After grabbing his lightsaber using the Force and using it to free himself and cut off one of the Wampas arms, Luke escapes from the cave, where the Probe Droid records him, before he collapses into the snow, although he is rescued by Han Solo, who takes him back to the Rebels Echobase. Having retrieved the footage recorded by the Probe Droid, the Empire launches an attack on the Rebels on Hoth using AT-ATs, forcing them to fend off the attack using Snowspeeders. After recovering, Luke takes part in the battle as well and manages to take down several AT-ATs, even after his Snowspeeder crashes, but the Rebels end up losing the battle nonetheless. Meanwhile, Han and Leia attempt to escape from the Echobase, fighting numerous Snowtroopers and being joined by C-3PO and Chewbacca along the way. They eventually reach the Millenium Falcon and manage to escape just as Darth Vader and his Snowtroopers invade the Echobase. Luke sees them and leaves as well in his X-Wing, along with R2-D2.
Despite escaping from Hoth, the Falcon is being chased by the Imperial fleet, so the group ventures into an asteroid field to escape from the pursuing TIE Fighters. They then manage to lose the Empire by hiding among the trashed released by one of the Star Destroyers, but are unaware that the bounty hunter Boba Fett, who was hired by Darth Vader, is pursuing them. Meanwhile, Luke travels to Dagobah to train to become a Jedi with Master Yoda. Luke and R2 make their way through the swampy planet and eventually find Yodas hut, where the old Jedi Master agrees to train Luke, helping him improve his Force powers by having him complete several trials, during which Luke carries Yoda in his back the whole time, until he can use the Force on his own. As they venture into a cave where the Dark Side is strong, Luke is forced to fight a vision of Darth Vader and manages to defeat it. Eventually, Luke has a vision of his friends being captured by Vader and, despite the warnings of Yoda and Obi-Wans spirit, as he hasnt completed his Jedi training yet, leaves to save them and confront Vader, after Yoda uses the Force to lift his X-Wing out of the swamp.
Luke arrives in Cloud City, on the gas planet Bespin, only to fall into a trap set up by Darth Vader and be forced to fight him. After a lengthy duel, Vader defeats Luke, cutting off his right hand, before revealing to him that he his father. Vader then tries to convince Luke to join him, but, shocked at this reveal, he refuses and instead drops into an air shaft, being ejected beneath the floating city, where he is left hanging from an antenna. Meanwhile, Han, Leia, Chewbacca and C-3PO arrive in Cloud City as well to hide from the Empire, as its administrator is Hans old friend Lando Calrissian, however, Lando betrays Han and his friends to Darth Vader. Subsequently, Han is subjected to a Carbonite Freezing Chamber, which encases him into a large block of carbonite, but not before Han and Leia admit their love for each other. As Fett prepares to load the frozen Han into his ship, Slave I, Lando has a change of heart and rescues Leia and Chewbacca from the Stormtroopers. They then fight their way through more Stormtroopers in an attempt to rescue Han, but arrive too late, as Fett has already left with him. Along with R2, who just arrived after witnessing Luke and Vaders confrontation, and C-3PO, whom they reassemble, as he was earlier lured away from the group and dismembered by Ugnaughts, they then make their way back to the Falcon and escape from Cloud City, but return after Luke, who telepathically reached out to Leia.
In the epilogue, the group reunites with the Rebel fleet, where Luke receives a robotic arm. Lando and Chewbacca begin their quest to save Han, while the others watch the Falcon depart.
2.6. Plot Episode VI - Return of the Jedi
Roughly one year later, the Empire is building a second Death Star to destroy the Rebel Alliance once and for all, with Darth Vader overseeing the construction. Meanwhile, the Rebels are able to track down the still-frozen Han Solo to Jabba the Hutts palace on Tatooine and Luke, now an experienced Jedi Knight, leads a mission to rescue him. After R2-D2 and C-3PO are allowed into the palace, Leia and Chewbacca sneak in as well, with Leia disguising herself as the bounty hunter Boushh. With Luke joining them along the way, they fight through Jabbas guards and eventually find Han, whom Leia releases from the carbonite and shares a kiss with. However, Jabba catches them and sentences the others to be eaten by his pet Rancor. After they manage to kill it by crushing a giant gate on its head, Jabba instead has Luke, Han and Chewbacca taken to the desert, where they would be eaten by the Sarlacc and has Leia turned into his slave. However, Luke signals R2 to throw him his new green lightsaber, which he uses to free Han and Chewbacca as well. Along with Lando, who was disguised as one of Jabbas guards all along, they fight through Jabbas numerous mercenaries and guards, including Boba Fett, whose jet pack malfunctions, causing him to fall into the Sarlacc. Once they arrive on Jabbas sail barge, R2 frees Leia after she uses her chain to choke Jabba to death, before destroying the entire ship and escaping in the last moment.
The group rendezvous with the Rebel Alliance, who have learned about the second Death Star and make a plan to attack it and defeat the Empire once and for all. Han leads a strike team on the forest moon of Endor to destroy the Death Stars shield generator, but Luke and Leia go to scout ahead and find several Scout Troopers. After killing all of them in a lengthy speeder bike chase through the forest, they find the Empires nearby landing pad and attack it, destroying it using an AT-AT. Reuniting with the rest of the team, they are all captured by Ewoks and taken to their village up in the trees, where C-3PO, whom they consider a god, convinces them to free the others, and also tells them about the war against the Empire, so that they would help them attack the shield generator. Before the attack, Luke leaves to confront Darth Vader. With the help of the Ewoks, the Rebels attack the shield generator and manage to destroy it, thus deactivating the Death Stars defenses and leaving it open for attack.
As the Rebel fleet prepares for the attack, Luke lets himself captured by Darth Vader and is brought before Emperor Palpatine on the Death Star. Palpatine begins to electrocute Luke with his Force lighting, but Vader, refusing to let his son die, jumps in front of him, thus saving his life. Luke and Vader then fight Palpatine together and manage to defeat him, with Vader throwing him down a reactor shaft to his death. However, with his suit severely damaged by Palpatines lighting, Vader dies after Luke removes his helmet, and Luke leaves the Death Star with Anakins body aboard an Imperial Shuttle. Meanwhile, Lando, who is piloting the Millennium Falcon alongside Nien Nunb, leads the attack on the Death Star and, despite it being fully operational, meaning that it was all a trap set up by the Empire, the Falcon manages to enter the Death Star, destroying its core, which causes the entire battle station to explode.
In the epilogue, Luke holds a funeral for Anakin on Endor, and the entire galaxy celebrates the defeat of the Empire. Luke, Han, Leia, Chewbacca, Lando, R2, C-3PO and other Rebels celebrate alongside the Ewoks in their village, where Luke sees the Force ghosts of Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin watching over him, all of them happy that balance has finally been restored to the Force.
Travellers Tales created the Complete Saga in response to the success of the original game and its sequel with LucasArts publishing the game. They combined the 2 games while also updating graphics, as well as adding new levels, characters, and new costume elements for customizable characters.
3.1. Development Variations between platforms
The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions allow for co-op play online, and support for high definition on HDTVs. The Wii version includes motion-sensitive inputs and the Nintendo DS version incorporates exclusive touch-screen action and challenges. All of the console versions feature support for the SD resolutions of 480i and 480p, and the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions feature the HD resolutions of 720p, 1080i and 1080p, all of which are available in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. The PlayStation 3 version also allows the use of Sixaxis motion-sensing, which allows the player to drive vehicles on the PlayStation 3.
On the Wii version, the motion-sensing Wii Remote gives the player an option to use gestures to make actions faster, such as swinging a Lightsaber and using the force as a Lighsaber-wielding character, melee attacks and grappling with blaster-wielding characters, as well as other general actions such as building. The speed of these depend on the intensity with which the player performs the gestures.
The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions do not have a V-Sync feature which later Lego video games have, meaning that there is a possibility of tearing in the image despite the fact that they are running in progressive scan mode, depending on the HDTVs native resolution & refresh rate, due to the simplistic nature of the engine. The Nintendo DS version allows multi-player co-op similar to the console versions, however it is only available on an ad-hoc connection with two Nintendo DS devices. Additionally, the Nintendo DS version does not add any new levels or playable characters, and several levels have been either combined or removed. Each film has 5 levels instead of 6. However it does introduce a few new-mini games which use the devices touch screen and are not seen on any other platform.
The iOS version is available as a free download on the App Store, with Episode I able to be played for free. Episodes II through VI though are available through in-app purchase. Co-op play is currently unsupported. The Cantina Shop and Character Customization aspects of the game were initially restricted until the player purchased an episode bundle. Following user criticism, this was changed in a later update. The iOS version has since been ported to Android and released via the Google Play Store and Amazon Appstore.
The game received generally positive reviews. On aggregate review website Metacritic, the game attained overall scores of 80 out of 100 on all platforms.
In April 2009, the game was the fourth-highest selling on the Wii, and ninth for the DS. By 2 May 2009, the games worldwide sales total exceeded 3.4 million. Guinness World Records Gamers Edition 2009 ranked The Complete Saga as the 23rd greatest video game of all time. The game was nominated for Best Video Game at the 2012 Kids Choice Awards, but lost to Just Dance 3.
